My lil girl's best friend at school had a "Top of the World" themed party last weekend. It was held at the Singapore Flyer (which is the Singapore equivalent of "The London Eye"). Her mommy got me to come up with a cake for her, with the Ferris Wheel as the main focus. So after much deliberation, this was the outcome of it. My personal preference for cake designs is plain and simple, with not too many colors, so i do hope that the birthday girl liked it. Happy 6th A!!!!!
Cake was white vanilla cake with strawberry IMBC filling and frosted with dark choc ganache. Filling was given many thumbs up by my worst food/cake critiques (aka my kids), the tartness of the strawberry combined with the sweetness from the buttercream was perfect. i likey : )
