McDonald's Chicken McNuggets Cake

This was one of those which i had an absolute ball making. M, who previously ordered these fashion cupcakes, wanted to surprise her brother with a McNuggets Cake. Apparently, they had a "eat 40pieces of nuggets in 30minutes challenge"and M's brother won that tittle. Hmmm..... i think i might be able to beat him to it. hahah ; )

 

Boob Cake

Hoookay..... HEADS UP TO PEEPS WHO FIND NAKED BOOBS REVOLTING! A sweet young thing dropped me an email a few days ago and asked me to make a sizzling hawt boob cake for her bf's birthday. lucky dude. 

 

Water Polo Cupcakes

S dropped me an email a couple of weeks back and commissioned me to make her water polo playing bf (i smell hunky), a set of cupcakes. she gave me the fantastic idea of making cupcakes with ball in hand coming out of water, looks a lot better than it sounds, really. photos are a little dark unfortunately, so please pardon them. : /

Totoro Cake

So today another Totoro themed cake was sent out. With experience from the previous Totoro cake,i was better equipped at making totoros. : )

 

Mr Curry Puff Room Cake

Another epitome of customized cakes. The guys over at McDee's are celebrating the birthday of the man in charge of McCafe and got me to make him a birthday cake. Said birthday boy apparently likes to comb his hair curry pouff-style, which explains the figurine.

 

Dora the Explorer Cake

Dora the Explorer and her good pal, Boots was sent out to a sweet little girl, Flavia today. Flavia goes to the same kindergarten as my son, and she has the most doll like face i have ever seen. just imagine porcelain skin, big round eyes, long black hair with china chops. how delicately pretty is that? Pardon the lousy shots again, took it early in the morning when the sun was still not up.

Bunny Cupcakes

Yesterday was the birthday of a dear old friend from school, and one of her best girlies (who's such a sweet pea) got me to make her a bunny themed cupcake. 

 

Jam Hsiao Cake

This was one cake i had a tough time thinking up a design, and constructing. D dropped me an email last week and asked if i could make a special cake for her daughter's 18th birthday. Birthday girl was an ardent fan of Jam Hsiao, a popular singer from Taiwan. 

 

Totoro Cake

I seldom feel so bumped to say bye to my cakes, but i was pretty sad to  say sayonara to my favorite Japanese cartoon character, Totoro. Totoro was introduced to us (my kids and i) by my sissy, who had been raving about this mad cute chinchilla, and we fell right for him. So imagine my joy when N came to me months ago and asked if i could make a Totoro cake for her friend. Oooo JOY! 

 

Boob Cake

Another boob cake was sent out today and it was to celebrate the big 3-0 for 2 big boys. this time no naked boobs. but heads up to those not used to seeing errr... naked bits cos when birthday boys "strips" down the cake there's a little surprise for them ; ) somehow the camera has distorted the ivory skin color of the hot bod. : /

Race Car Cake and Cupcakes

This one was done for a little boy, and i quote in his mother's words, " an urban planner who loves F1". So, instead of a "normal" race track cake, i carved the cake to make the fast car look like its "arriving" at the finish line on top of a raised platform. Thanks Wendy for the referral! 

Doraemon Cupcake

Is it me or is it really just a coincidence that my last 2 cakes are both Doraemon themed? Anyways, this time it was a doraemon cupcake set up, from a sweet young boy to his sweet heart. This boy really spent a lot of time thinking about the perfect birthday cake to present to his gf, and i do hope that the birthday girl will like what she sees. : )

Customized Cupcakes

This is another post i had difficulty title-ing (if there's such a word), cos its so customized that there's simply no other way to describe. this was for my fav order-er's good friend/ godpa to her kids. and each cupcake is topped with his favorite thing/person.

 

Soccer Cake

One last post to mark the start of the weekend! This was a referral from my brother in law! Hi M, if you're reading this! : ) Was introduced to S, who was looking for a soccer themed cake for her bf, and she requested for a soccer ball and a soccer jersey with a special message for him. 

Little Girl Cake

Was a bit stuck as to what to tittle this post, cos really, there's no solid theme here, except that a figurine of a little girl was required and to doll the cake up. There's something about purple fondant and cameras, they always come out looking more blue than purple in pictures. : /

Nike running shoe cake

My first ever sculpted shoe cake. this was requested by the fiance of my lubb. it was a good friend's last day on the job as she moves to greener pastures, and he wanted to send her a parting gift. not sure the reason why a running shoe, maybe run to a better future? anyways, cake recipient was the one who got the boxer shorts and d*ck cake for her friend. 

Angry Birds Cake

I have been aching to do an angry birds cake so bad, that when an ex school mate asked if i could make one for her sissy, i almost kissed her. 

Nacho Cheese Doritos Chips Cake

This was for for an ex colleague of my best girlie. She knows me inside and out, and decided to let me have some fun and got me to recreate birthday girl's favorite snack in cake!

Surfer Cake

The other cake that was sent out was a Surfer Cake. This one done for a surfer dude husband from his lovely wife. His birthday bash was held at Wavehouse, where you ride man made rip curls. So with that in mind, i tried not to make it too beach-y, and dropped the idea of adding coconut trees and buckets and spades. Instead, said wife asked if i could make her husband a sexy beach babe on the side! : )

2 tier Damask Cake with Rose

Pardon the radio silence, been busy these days, mostly with cakes, but at least i managed to hang out with some old gfs whom i haven't met in a long while over the weekend. It was fun, all the girly banter, and zero cake talk. : )

So anyways, over the weekend i sent 2 cakes out to Sentosa. But both with very different themes and design. The first one i sent out was a Damask Stenciled cake for a sweet old school mate of mine. Have been dying to try out damask patterns, ever since i came across them whilst poring through the net, but realized that i couldn't find the stencil in singapore! So after much consideration, i decided, what the heck, just get the damn stencil off the net, and had one shipped in from the states.

Spongebob Burger Cake

Otherwise known as Krabby Patty to all you SB fans. So an old school mate contacted me, (she's one of the gals who got the boob cake for her girlie's hen party) and asked if i could make her sissy a spongebob themed cake.

 

McDonald's McChicken Burger Meal Cake

Its burger day for me today, as i send out 2 burger cakes. First cake was for an employee of McDonald's who won a global award for her outstanding performance (apparently only the top 1% of McDonald's employees get it). So what else comes to mind, but a full set of Mcdonald's meal, in cake!
