A variation from my first doraemon cake, this time i carved the entire silhouette of doraemon out of cake, and added a wee bit more details to it.
The first step of drawing and cutting out the template of doraemon was the most time consuming, but after that, it was all pretty straightforward and fun to do!
And my kids were inspired upon seeing their mom drawing (and erasing, MANY TIMES!) doraemon, they picked up their own pencil and paper and did their own sketches of their favorite japanese cat(?).
Cake and cupcakes were chocolate cake with vanilla filling.
