Yesterday we sent out a Totoro themed cake for an intimate birthday celebration of a young lady who loves her big fuzzy friends. Her friend L, dropped me a mail a few weeks back and commissioned us to make her a cake.
So this time i designed the set up such that the Totoros look like their standing atop a forest. Good thing this was just a 6inch cake, cos cutting out the leaves and sticking them on took me a good 2 hours to finish!
Cake was carrot with lemon filling.
So cute! What are the black soot/dust bunnies made of? And how was totoro sculpted? Is it just fondant or is there something supporting him?
