Sweet XT dropped us a mail sometime back and was looking for ideas on what cake to present to her boy for his birthday. She threw us with a couple of things he likes and one of them was good ole Singaporean chicken rice, and that was how the idea of a plate of chicken rice shaped cake was born.
i picked the color orange as the base of the cake cos i thought about those kopitiam plates that we singaporeans are used to seeing. next time i will be making a fondant shaped plate and throw in a fork and spoon as well. : )
Cake was chocolate fudge with oreos filling.
