Sweet L, who's the sister of an old friend of mine, was looking for a cake for her whiskey loving uncle's birthday celebration.
Birthday uncle was born in the year of the monkey, and his missus was born in the year of the rat, which gave her the cute idea of making a figurine of a pink (she chose the color, but i'm guessing there's a private joke behind it!) monkey looking drunk and eating bananas, and a little rat looking smitten with love at the monkey. ha ha.
Cake was red velvets with salted caramel filling.
