This was also done sometime back for one of our regulars. she was looking for a muppets themed cake for her younger son, who had just recently gone to Osaka and wanted to combine the 2 together.
We had a hard time coming up with this design, because S requested that we avoid using cherry blossoms (which was the first thing that popped into our minds when she mentioned japan). so we decided to go with the japanese flag and bamboos instead.
