This was done for a young lady who loves her purple Vespa. Her friends wanted to get her a really special cake, and special they got! This cake was huge! it was close to a kid sized bike.
Smythson Jewelry Box Cake
A Smythson jewelry box cake we did last year. We replicated this one very closely and went right into the little details like the hinges and croc skin texture. It took us a week to complete. Note the totally suspended box lid which the engineer husband constructed!
