This wedding cake was done sometime ago for one of our regular orderers. She was looking to get a smallish wedding cake as a gift to a friend of hers who was having a small celebration party at a local chinese restaurant.
L requested for peonies as the main flower for this wedding cake, and for the colors to be an auspicious combination of red and gold, and for a plaque with the word double happiness sitting atop of set up. Loved how traditionally pretty this one turned out! : )
This was our first go at sugar peonies, and we're pretty pleased with it!
